Edmonton Oilers trail 2-0 in series

The Florida Panthers have taken a 2-0 lead in the Stanley Cup Final after defeating the Edmonton Oilers 3-0 in Game 2 on Thursday night.

Carter Verhaeghe scored the game-winning goal for the Panthers just 3:22 into the first period, and Aleksander Barkov and Sam Reinhart added goals in the second and third periods, respectively.

Edmonton Oilers goaltender Jack Campbell made 24 saves in the loss, while Sergei Bobrovsky made 29 saves for the Panthers.

The Oilers will now head home for Game 3 on Saturday night, trailing 2-0 in the series.

The Panthers have now won four straight games in the Stanley Cup Final, and they will be looking to close out the series in Edmonton on Saturday night.
